The exams, which took place on January 31 and February 1, 2026, saw a high rate of success among students. According to the board, out of a total of 166,840 students who appeared for the examinations across 6,432 centers, an impressive 160,945 students have qualified to progress to higher studies. The massive logistical effort was overseen by a dedicated team of 8,560 supervisors and 240 superintendents.

The overall qualification rates reflect the students' hard work, with all classes recording a pass percentage above 95%:

The public examination was conducted simultaneously across multiple regions, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andaman, and Lakshadweep. The subsequent evaluation process was conducted efficiently at 240 division-centric camps located in Kerala and Karnataka, with the work carried out by 7,985 assistant examiners and 363 chief examiners.

Revaluation and Congratulations
For students seeking a revaluation of their answer scripts, the application process will be open online. Applications must be submitted through the Sadar Muallim via the official website (www.samastha.in > Apply for Revaluation) from March 5 to 9. A fee of Rs. 100 per paper will apply.
For candidates who could not clear the examination, the board is expected to conduct supplementary examinations tentatively in June 2026.
