As per the latest notification, the first phase of the Graduate Level Computer Based Test (CBT) will now be held from June 5 to June 24, 2025. Earlier, the exam was planned for 15 days, but has now been extended by an additional day.

Candidates who have applied for the RRB NTPC 2025 exam will be able to download their admit cards starting June 1, 2025, which is four days before the commencement of the exam. Along with the hall ticket, applicants can also access details of their allotted exam city, e-call letter, and travel authority (for eligible categories) through their respective regional RRB websites. To log in, candidates must enter their user ID, password, and captcha code.

This year, over 1.21 crore applications have been received for the RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment, which aims to fill more than 11,900 posts under graduate and undergraduate categories. The vacancies include roles such as Station Master, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Senior Clerk. A separate exam schedule will be announced for undergraduate-level positions.

RRB NTPC 2025 Exam Pattern

The CBT will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections—General Awareness, Reasoning, and Mathematics. The test duration is 90 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes provided to PwBD candidates. Importantly, one-third of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Candidates who qualify in the first stage will move on to the second phase, which includes either a Typing Skill Test or a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBT 2), depending on the post applied for. This will be followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. Final selection will be purely merit-based, determined by cumulative performance across all stages.
