Professional Qualification: A two-year Diploma in Special Education in any recognized category of disability.
Mandatory Requirement: Qualified CTET Paper-I conducted by CBSE.
Skill: Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English.
For TGT Special Educator Posts:
Educational Qualification: Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Professional Qualification: A B.Ed. in Special Education OR a B.Ed. (General) with a one-year Diploma in Special Education.

Age Limit and Selection Process

Two-Stage Selection Procedure:
The selection process is designed to assess both theoretical knowledge and practical teaching competence.
Computer Based Test (CBT): A 180-mark objective test covering General English, Hindi, Reasoning Skills, Perspectives on Education, and Subject-Specific Knowledge.
Professional Competence Test: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a demonstration of teaching skills and an interview, carrying a total of 60 marks.
The final merit list is typically prepared in a 70:30 ratio, giving 70% weightage to the written test score and 30% to the professional test and interview.
