  • Exams start February 3, 2026; admit card is mandatory for entry

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the release of the Jharkhand Board Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) Admit Cards for the 2026 board examinations. The council has confirmed that the hall tickets for the annual secondary and higher secondary exams are now available exclusively through the official JAC examination portal.

A procedural detail for students and parents is that the JAC Admit Card 2026 cannot be downloaded directly by individual candidates. As per the official protocol, the authority to access and download the admit cards rests solely with the heads of registered schools and educational institutions.

School principals and administrators must use their official login credentials on the portal jacexamportal.in to download the admit cards for their enrolled students. The school authorities will then affix their signatures and institutional seals on the hall tickets before distributing them physically to the examinees. Students across Jharkhand are strongly advised to contact their respective schools from February 3, 2026, to collect their examination documents promptly.

Exam Schedule and Admit Card Essentials

The Jharkhand Board 10th and 12th examinations are scheduled to commence on February 3, 2026. The exams will be conducted in two separate shifts: the first shift for Class 10 (Matriculation) students and the second shift for Class 12 (Intermediate) students.

The JAC Admit Card is a mandatory document containing several vital details, including:

  • Student’s Full Name and Photograph
  • JAC Roll Number and Registration Details
  • Assigned Examination Centre Name and Address
  • Date and Timings for Each Subject Exam
  • List of Applied Subjects
  • Immediate Verification and COVID-19 Guidelines

Upon receiving their admit card, students must verify every detail printed on it. Officials recommend paying special attention to the spelling of the name, the correctness of the photograph, and the listed subjects. Any discrepancy or error must be reported to the school administration immediately for timely correction and re-issue by the board.

The Jharkhand Academic Council has reiterated that no student will be permitted to enter the examination hall without a valid, school-attested admit card. Alongside the hall ticket, the council has circulated important guidelines concerning COVID-19 safety protocols and general health advisories for the smooth and secure conduct of the exams.

With the release of the admit cards, the final phase of preparation begins for millions of students across the state. Candidates are encouraged to collect their hall tickets at the earliest, confirm their exam center location, and focus on their revision schedules.

For all official updates and notices, students and parents should rely only on the authorized JAC website and communications from their respective schools.
