Originally scheduled for release on January 2, 2026, the hall tickets have been postponed due to administrative and technical considerations. The official organizing institute, IIT Guwahati, has published a notice on the GATE 2026 website (gate2026.iitg.ac.in) informing candidates of the change. The revised release date for the admit cards is expected to be announced shortly.

Regarding result timelines, the GATE 2026 results are tentatively slated for declaration on March 19, 2026. Scores will be valid for three years from the date of result announcement.
