The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has begun the registration process for the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website, comedk.org. The last date to apply is March 16, 2026.

The entrance test is scheduled to be held on May 9, 2026, in computer-based mode. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by participating private colleges across Karnataka.

Students who have passed Class 12 or are appearing for the examination can apply, provided they meet the required eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to complete the application carefully and submit it before the deadline. Important updates, including the admit card and counselling details, will be released on the official website.

COMEDK 2026 Application Process

To apply, candidates must first register using a valid email ID and mobile number. After registration, they are required to fill in personal details, academic information, and choose their preferred exam cities. Applicants must also upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

The application fee must be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking. Candidates should review all information before final submission, as changes may not be allowed after the correction window, if provided.

Exam Pattern

COMEDK UGET 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode and will have a duration of three hours. The question paper will include 180 multiple choice questions, with 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
