The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the answer key for objective questions of the Intermediate Annual Theoretical Examination 2026 and commenced evaluation work across several districts, including Muzaffarpur.
The answer key covers all theoretical subjects under the Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational streams. It has been prepared by a panel of subject experts and uploaded on the Board’s official portals. Candidates and other concerned persons can raise objections until 05:00 PM on 06.03.2026 through biharboardonline.com and objection.biharboardonline.com. The Board stated that objections submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Subject experts will review all representations and issue a revised answer key if required.
In all theoretical subjects of Intermediate courses, objective questions carried 50% of the total prescribed marks. OMR-based responses were used for all subjects. Students must log in using their roll code and serial number to submit objections. Objections can be filed subject-wise through the online system. The Board has also activated a direct link for Intermediate evaluation-related updates.
Evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets has begun in multiple districts. In Muzaffarpur, five centres started checking work on the first day. Around 6% of Intermediate copies were evaluated, while data entry was completed for only 1%.
The Chapman Evaluation Centre received 58,850 copies of English, Urdu and Psychology. Of these, 3,072 were checked on the first day, but none were entered into the system. The District School received 56,171 Hindi answer sheets. Nearly 3% were evaluated, and data entry was completed for almost all assessed scripts.
DN High School received 55,130 copies of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. About 3% were checked, though data entry had not commenced. At Marwari High School, 512 copies of Accountancy, Philosophy, History and Economics were evaluated, amounting to less than 1%. All evaluated scripts were uploaded into the system. Mukherjee Seminary School is assessing Geography and Home Science papers, where approximately 3% were examined on the first day.
A total of 13,17,846 students have registered for the Intermediate examination, while 15,12,963 candidates are enrolled for the Matriculation examination. The Board is preparing to declare both results by the end of March on its official websites.
