TVS iQube electric scooter gets new variant with 123 km range, check all details

The TVS iQube is one of the largest-selling electric scooters in India.

TVS Motor Company has expanded the iQube electric scooter range with the addition of a new variant with a 3.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a certified range of 123 km (IDC). The TVS iQube 3.1 kWh is priced at Rs 1,05,225 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The TVS iQube range is now available in the following six variants.

iQube 2.2 kWh - Rs 94,434

iQube 3.1 kWh (new) - Rs 1,05,225

iQube 3.5 kWh - Rs 1,08,993

iQube S 3.5 kWh - Rs 1,17,642

iQube ST 3.5 kWh - Rs 1,27,935

iQube ST 5.3 kWh - Rs 1,58,834

The iQube 3.1 kWh uses a 4.4 kW motor, capable of pushing the electric scooter to a top speed of 82 kmph. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Based on a tubular structure, the iQube 3.1 kWh gets telescopic front suspension and hydraulic tiwn shocks at the rear. The 12-inch alloy wheels are shod with tubeless tyres. Braking duties are performed by a 220 mm disc at the front and 130 mm drum at the rear.

The electric scooter boasts a complete LED set-up so far as lighting is concerned. The headlight, taillight and winkers are LED units. There is a 5-inch TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation. It supports Bluetooth connectivity and over-the-air (OTA) updates. The Park Assist feature allows for hassle-free parking manoeuvres even in tight spaces and inclines. TVS has added hill hold and refreshed UI/UX in the iQube 3.1 kWh.

Buyers can select from four colour options -- Pearl White, Titanium Grey, Starlight Blue with Beige (dual-tone) and Copper Bronze with Beige (dual-tone).

Since its arrival in January 2020, the TVS iQube has garnered sales of over 6,00,000 units. It rivals electric scooters like the Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Ola S1 and Vida V2.
