Bridgestone India names Rajarshi Moitra as Managing Director from January 2026

Moitra joined Bridgestone India in 2019.

Bridgestone India has appointed Rajarshi Moitra as Managing Director, effective January 1, 2026. He will take over from Hiroshi Yoshizane, who has led the company since January 2024.

Moitra currently serves as Deputy Managing Director. He had earlier taken on roles across consumer and commercial business, solution business, logistics and supply chain management, after joining Bridgestone India in 2019 to head the consumer business. In June 2024, he became Executive Director, Sales and Marketing, followed by his appointment as Deputy Managing Director in May 2025.

Yoshizane, who also holds the position of Group President, Bridgestone Asia Pacific, India, China (BSAPIC), will be promoted to Vice President and Senior Officer of Bridgestone Corporation from January 1, 2026. He will continue as BSAPIC Group President, Chairman of the Board of Bridgestone India, and Vice Chairman of the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association.
