The 2025 Hyundai Venue will be launched in India today.

Hyundai Motor India will launch the all-new second-generation Hyundai Venue, along with its performance-oriented version, the Venue N Line, in the domestic market today. The twin launches mark the carmaker's most significant update in the compact SUV segment since the Venue's debut in 2019. Bookings for both models are open across dealerships and on the company's 'Click to Buy' online platform for Rs 25,000.

With more than 7 lakh units sold since inception, the Venue has been one of Hyundai's key volume drivers. The latest update brings not just a generational shift for the standard Venue but also a parallel upgrade for the N Line variant, aimed at customers seeking a sportier design and dynamic driving experience.

2025 Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line: Larger and more refined

The 2025 Hyundai Venue is now larger, measuring 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,665mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,520mm. The compact SUV is 48mm taller, 30mm wider and has a 20mm longer wheelbase than before. The design follows Hyundai's global 'Sensuous Sportiness' theme, with a dark chrome radiator grille, quad beam LED headlamps, twin horn LED DRLs, horizon LED positioning lamps and bridge-type roof rails. The vehicle also gets muscular wheel arches, sculpted character lines and an in-glass Venue emblem.

Both models share this refreshed design language, but the Venue N Line adds unique styling cues -- red highlights on bumpers, a dark chrome grille with N branding, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, red brake calipers and a twin-tip exhaust. A wing-type rear spoiler completes the N Line's distinctive look.

2025 Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line: Premium cabin and connected technology

Inside, the new Venue range adopts Hyundai's new H-architecture cabin design. The standard Venue features a dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove Grey interior, while the N Line uses a sportier black theme with red highlights, N-branded seats and metal pedals.

A curved panoramic display combines a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital cluster. Hyundai's new ccNC infotainment system, powered by NVIDIA, supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates for up to 20 controllers, built-in navigation, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A Bose eight-speaker premium sound system is standard on higher variants.

The cabin also incorporates leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, a D-cut steering wheel, and a terrazzo-textured crash pad. Hyundai has improved space with a longer wheelbase and scooped front seatbacks. Comfort features include a two-step reclining rear seat, rear AC vents, rear sunshades, a four-way powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and a cooled glovebox.

The SUV's structure uses 71% hot-stamped and ultra-high-strength steel. 2025 Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line: Engine and transmission options

The powertrain line-up remains identical across both Venue and Venue N Line models, anchored by Hyundai's 1.0-litre turbo GDi petrol engine that develops 120PS and 172Nm. It can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT with paddle shifters.

The standard Venue also offers two additional engine choices -- a 1.2-litre Kappa MPi petrol unit (83PS and 114.7Nm) mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, and a 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel (116PS and 250Nm) with a 6-speed manual or new 6-speed automatic transmission.

Drive modes include Eco, Normal and Sport, while traction control modes (Sand, Mud, Snow) enhance performance across conditions.

2025 Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line: Variants, colours and expected prices

Hyundai has introduced a new HX nomenclature, replacing the earlier S and SX series. Variants will range from HX2 to HX10, depending on engine and feature configuration. The Venue N Line will be offered in two trims -- N6 and N10.

Colour options for the Venue include six monotone and two dual-tone shades such as Hazel Blue, Mystic Sapphire, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Dragon Red and Abyss Black. The N Line adds five monotone and three dual-tone choices, including Atlas White, Hazel Blue and Dragon Red with an Abyss Black roof.

Prices for the new Venue are expected to start from around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Venue N Line is likely to begin at about Rs 11.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

2025 Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line: Market context

With rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda Kylaq already active in this segment, Hyundai's dual launch aims to reinforce its presence in both mainstream and performance sub-categories. The Venue's comprehensive redesign and the simultaneous upgrade of the N Line variant position Hyundai to cater to a wider customer base within the compact SUV market.
