Kimbal Musk denied any personal association with Jeffrey Epstein after documents referenced him over 100 times, clarifying their only meeting was professional and brief. He attributed frequent emails to a mass newsletter and expressed support for Epstein’s victims.

Kimbal Musk has publicly pushed back against suggestions of any personal association with Jeffrey Epstein after newly released documents linked to the convicted sex offender referenced the billionaire entrepreneur more than 100 times.

Responding on X, formerly Twitter, the restaurateur and brother of Elon Musk said Epstein played no role in his personal life and described the late financier as a “demon" he encountered only once.

“In 2012 I started dating a woman who was 30 years old. I met her through a friend. Epstein did not introduce us," Kimbal Musk wrote, rejecting claims implied by emails contained in the latest tranche of Epstein files.

The documents include emails discussing meeting dates, party schedules and a message thanking Epstein for connecting Musk with a woman. Musk said those references had been misinterpreted and insisted his interaction with Epstein was limited and strictly professional.

“My only meeting with that demon was in his New York office during the day. I never met with him again and I never went to his island," he said.

Explaining the email trail

Addressing why his name appeared so frequently in the records, Musk said the volume of emails stemmed from a mass mailing list rather than personal correspondence.

“The reason he has so many emails from me is because he was subscribed to a newsletter I sent out to thousands of people every few weeks," he wrote.

He concluded his statement by expressing solidarity with Epstein’s victims, adding, “My heart goes out to the many victims of Jeffrey Epstein, as it does for all who have suffered any kind of sexual abuse or harassment."

Wider spotlight on Epstein’s network

The newly released Epstein files contain emails, letters and travel records that shed further light on how Epstein maintained contact with influential figures across business, politics and entertainment even after his 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor for prostitution.

The documents also reference Elon Musk, showing sporadic exchanges between the Tesla chief and Epstein regarding possible travel or social gatherings. One email mentions a part of Epstein’s private island.

Elon Musk has previously denied any visit to the island, stating on social media that Epstein attempted to lure him there but that he refused.

Jeffrey Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide.

As scrutiny around the Epstein files intensifies, figures named in the documents have increasingly moved to publicly clarify their level of contact, with Kimbal Musk now firmly distancing himself from any association beyond a single meeting.
