Controversial influencer Andrew Tate has claimed that he knows who was behind the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, making the assertion during a recent appearance on Jack Neel’s podcast.
When asked about a possible link between Kirk’s murder and feminism, Tate sidestepped the question and hinted at what he described as a far more dangerous backdrop. After a long pause, he made a startling claim while suggesting he needed to be cautious about his words.
“Let's talk as professionals here. Sorry for the pause. I'm just scanning what’s going to keep me alive,” he said. “So I know who killed him. And the only person who is overtly giving theories as to who killed him publicly is Candace [Owens].”
Tate argued that American commentator and author Candace Owens has been able to speak publicly about the case without consequences because, according to him, her claims are deliberately dismissed by those in power. He alleged that she is undermined through identity based stereotyping and online manipulation.
Tate claimed that “those in charge” allow Owens to speak because they portray her as a “hysterical Black woman,” using bots and paid influencers to discredit her views as irrational, even if she were correct. “If a man in a suit said the same thing, he would be taken seriously and silenced,” he remarked.
He suggested that he himself could not share details of what he knows due to the potential fallout.
“If you're a man in a sharp suit... there still is that degree of misogyny in the world where a man is taken a bit more seriously with some things,” Tate said. “And then if you get it right on the money with a different tone, and they can't really call you crazy... if you don’t give them the second life, if you don’t give them an easy layup, well, then, you pay the price.”
Candace Owens has publicly rejected the official narrative around the case, saying she does not believe that Tyler Robinson, the man arrested in connection with the killing, is guilty or acted alone.
“I now can say with full confidence that I believe Charlie Kirk was betrayed by the leadership of Turning Point USA and some of the very people who eulogized him on stage,” Owens has said, placing responsibility on individuals within Kirk’s own organisation.
Tyler Robinson has been charged with the murder of Charlie Kirk, who was killed in September 2025. He has not yet entered a plea in the case.
