




Addressing a press conference, Swamy said Imran Khan was the prime minister of Pakistan only on paper.

Swamy held a press conference at his official residence here and made public the document, which he claimed was placed in a sealed cover before the top court by the Centre. He alleged that there was no basis for the Ministry of Finance to file a report of the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) in the court as it was of the year 2016, which was already available on Twitter.
The top court found that the petitioner, who has filed the case against the officer alleging he had acquired disproportinate assets, was not represented through his counsel.
The top court said that it will also take up for hearing tomorrow the contempt petition filed by Rajeshwar Singh, who had sough initiation of contempt proceedings as attempts have been made to thwart the ongoing investigation in the Aircel-Maxis case.
