The NDA achieved a resounding victory, claiming 202 out of 243 seats in the House -- its second time crossing the 200-seat barrier, the first being in 2010 when it secured 206.
It is to be noted that Rs 10,000 was transferred to the account of 1.25 crore women voters under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana by the JD(U)-BJP led NDA government in Bihar.
The BJP, which achieved a sweeping victory along with the JD(U) in Bihar, attacked the RJD over its “mentality reflecting jungle raaj” and alleged nepotism within the party, saying “their fight is only for power.”
The RJD's vote share dipped by a mere 0.11 percentage point this year while the LJP(RV)'s share declined by a paltry 0.69%.
Paswan also criticised the opposition for what he described as “provocative” references to political unrest in neighbouring countries, alleging that leaders were attempting to stoke public sentiment by drawing parallels to foreign protests.
For a politician known to move decisively after verdicts, the JD(U) chief's public vacuum is now the story.
BJP has won a solid 89 seats in the 243-member assembly, its second best performance after 2010. The JD(U) came a close second with 85 seats.

Chirag Paswan had claimed that his father, the late Ram Vilas Paswan, had pushed for a Muslim chief minister in Bihar back in 2005, but the RJD refused to support the proposal.
Talking about NDA's campaign, he said the NDA constituents are working in a unified manner and the campaign will gather pace post Chhath. Outlining LJP's strategy he said the fight is for the bigger goal of Bihar -- 'Bihar First, Bihar First'. Paswan reiterated that he doesn't have anything against Nitish Kumar.
The independent MP alleged that the BJP and LJP are working strategically to weaken Nitish Kumar’s position within the NDA.
Polling for the Bihar elections will take place in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be announced on November 14
The rift between Nitish Kumar's JDU and Chirag Paswan's LJP(RV) is more than just about seats. It revives a decades-old rivalry rooted in shifting loyalties, bruised pride, and Bihar's complex caste arithmetic.
