Cloudflare’s data indicates that search remains a primary entry point to the internet for billions of users.
Social and platform ecosystems remain strongFacebook secured the second position overall, highlighting its continued relevance as a global social networking platform. Despite changing user habits and increased competition, Facebook continued to generate substantial traffic throughout the year.
Instagram ranked fifth, reflecting steady usage driven by visual content consumption, creator engagement, and messaging features. TikTok followed at eighth place, indicating consistent demand for short-form video content across markets.
System-level and cloud-driven trafficApple ranked third on the list, supported by traffic from its tightly integrated ecosystem, including device updates, app services, and cloud-backed features. Microsoft followed at fourth place, with traffic linked to Windows updates, productivity tools, and enterprise services contributing to its ranking.
Amazon Web Services appeared at sixth place, underlining the growing role of cloud infrastructure in global internet traffic. Amazon’s consumer-facing platform ranked ninth, reflecting continued use of e-commerce services.
