Bluesky, which was founded by former Twitter CEO (now known as X), has released a new roadmap to showcase its upcoming features for the coming months. The newly launched microblogging platform has said that plans to introduce direct messages, support for video posting, improved custom feeds, and new moderation controls.

In a blog post, Bluseky stated it is developing a direct messaging (DM) feature that will be integrated into the Bluesky app, off the decentralized AT Protocol. It is the same protocol that Bluesky used initially, and the same protocol will be used for DM integration.
Bluesky has also added that it will facilitate one-on-one chat and will add support for which users can DM other users. Further, the microblogging says it is also working on improving its custom feeds, which lets users curate their feeds. Therefore, you will have better-curated feed in the future.
You will also get video submission support, as Bluseky has stated that it will add support for posting videos with up to a 90-second timeline. Additionally, Bluesky aims to improve allows users to customize the posts that appear in their feed according to their preferences, and users can see custom feeds according to their liking.
Bluesky also said that it is also working on anti-harassment tools.
Also, the social networking site will allow an “OAuth” login mechanism that would allow users to log into Bluesky with different services related to the app.
