X-Men’s Magneto comes to Fortnite; here’s how you can unlock the iconic character

Magneto comes to Fortnite

Iconic X-Men villain Erik Magnus Lehnsherr, more popularly known as Magneto, has arrived in Fortnite. You can unlock the Master of Magnetism’s Wastelander skin by getting the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass.

Fortnite has also added various Magneto-related cosmetic items like the Crushed GG Emoticon, Magnetic Steps Glider, Disassemble Emote and Magnetism Master Wrap. To get the cosmetic items, you must complete a series of quests (called the Wrecked Battle Pass Quests).

You can complete the Wrecked Battle Pass Quests in Fortnite Battle Royale. You’ll find Magneto Gauntlets lying on the ground or kept inside Chests in Battle Royale. Once you have worn them, you can summon metal shards to be used as ammo. The shards can also form a shield around you.

How to get the Wastelander Magneto Outfit in Fortnite?

To unlock the Wastelander Magneto Outfit in Fortnite, you must complete three quests on Page 1 and Page 2. You can take on the quests in any order.

Page 1 quests-

1. Visit the Weapon X Lab to unlock the 'Knock, Knock, CLANG' Loading Screen.
2. Collect Magneto Gauntlets to unlock the Magneto's Grasp Spray.
3. Travel 300 units in the air with Magneto Gauntlets equipped to unlock the Magnetized Scrap Pickaxe.
4. Hit 10 vehicles using Magneto Gauntlets to unlock a Wastelander Magneto Banner Icon.

1. Eliminate 5 opponents with Magneto Gauntlets to unlock the Crushed GG Emoticon.
2. Block 200 hits using Magneto Gauntlets for defense to unlock the Magnetic Steps Glider.
3. Do 2,000 damage to opponents from one story above or higher to unlock the Disassemble Emote.
4. Configure 3 Rift Beacons to unlock the Magnetism Master Wrap.
