Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: The Arcade Classics–the fighting game collection featuring characters from Marvel Comics and Capcom–has a confirmed release date. The digital game edition of Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection The Arcade Classics will launch on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) on September 12, 2024, Capcom announced.

After the digital edition, a physical edition of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection The Arcade Classics will follow with its launch scheduled for November 22, 2024. However, the physical edition of the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection arcade fighting games will launch only on PS4 and Nintendo Switch and not on PC.

These are X-Men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, The Punisher and the 2000 game Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.

Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: The Arcade Classics games can now be played online. You can enjoy a Casual Matches game or go head-to-head with the world’s top players in Ranked Matches. Or set your own rules in Custom Matches mode and either play with or spectate your friends. There is one caveat, though. The one-button specials can’t be used in Ranked and Custom Matches of Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection games.

The Training Mode allows you to train your chosen character as much as you want to. The Training Mode comes augmented with settings for input displays, hitboxes and damage numbers.

Players can check out the original arcade release's marquee card at any time. They can also see the design documents, posters, and instruction cards, and listen to the music featured in the Marvel vs Capcom games.
