Turn-based strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II will launch in Spring 2026, developer Bulwark Studios and publisher Kasedo Games have announced. The sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). Kasedo Games also released a spotlight video on Tech-Aquisitor Scaevola and the Necron Lord Ominekh, showcasing the playstyles and abilities of the rival faction leaders. Four more such videos are planned, each highlighting two deployable leaders, one each for the Adeptus Mechanicus and the Necrons.
In a post on Steam, the developers said that after going minutely through player feedback, they have decided to add the highly-requested “lingua technis”--the machine-code language of the Machine God’s faithful– as an optional setting at launch. The devs are also working on “performance optimisations and tightening up the moment-to-moment experience, particularly with regards to the speed of gameplay.” An option to automatically select the Move action when a unit is chosen will also be added.
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II pits two game factions–the Necrons and the Adeptus Mechanicus– against each other in turn-based tactical battles. Vargard Nefershah, with her legions, plans to move against the Adeptus Mechanicus who have settled upon her world. Magos Dominus Faustinius of the Adeptus Mechanicus is summoned to foil the plans of the Necrons. The fight for domination is spread across two narrative campaigns.
