Tecno has launched a new affordable 5G phone in India, called the Spark Go 5G. It is the latest entry in the company’s budget Spark series and is claimed to be the slimmest and lightest 5G phone in its segment. The smartphone’s key features include a large 120Hz display, a huge 6000mAh battery, and multiple AI-powered features through the company’s Ella AI suite.

Tecno Spark Go 5G: Price, availability

The Tecno Spark Go 5G is available for Rs 9,999 for the sole variant with 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The handset will go on sale via Flipkart and select retail stores starting August 21. It is offered in Ink Black, Sky Blue and Turquoise Green, and heritage-inspired Bikaner Red colour options.

The Tecno Spark Go 5G comes with a 6.76-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 670 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and ships with Android 15-based HiOS 15. In the camera department, the Tecno Spark Go 5G sports a 50MP AI-backed primary rear sensor alongside an LED flash unit. At the front, it gets a 5MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

Further, the Spark Go 2 packs a 6,000mAh battery, with support for 18W charging. It also supports Tecno's No Network Communication feature, which allows other eligible Tecno smartphone users to call or message without cellular service. The handset has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, an IR blaster, a USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
