Samsung’s next big flagship launch may be closer than expected. The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is now tipped to launch in the last week of February, according to a fresh leak from a well-known tipster. If the information is accurate, Samsung could be sticking to its early-year flagship strategy while making a few changes to its usual timeline.

Tipster Ice Universe has claimed on X that Samsung will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25. This is where the company is expected to officially unveil the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

According to the leak, pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series could begin just a day after the launch event, starting February 26. The pre-order window is said to run until March 4. Following that, Samsung is expected to begin what the tipster describes as a pre-sale period from March 5 to March 10. Full retail sales could then start on March 11.

It is worth noting that this timeline is reportedly based on the South Korean market. Availability dates for India and other global regions may vary slightly, as Samsung often staggers releases depending on the country. Still, the overall schedule gives a fairly clear picture of what to expect.

The new leak lines up with earlier information shared by Evan Blass, who had previously said that a February 25 launch date for the Galaxy S26 series was “100 percent correct”. A report from November 2025 had also pointed to a similar launch window, adding more weight to the claims.

If Samsung does go ahead with a late-February launch, it would mark a slight shift from its usual pattern. While the company has traditionally launched its Galaxy S-series phones in March, recent years have seen Samsung move events earlier in the year. Reports suggest that this change in schedule could be due to internal product lineup adjustments.

As always, Samsung has not officially confirmed any of these details. Until the company sends out Galaxy Unpacked invites, everything remains based on leaks and tipster claims. That said, with multiple sources pointing to the same date, expectations around a February 25 launch are starting to look increasingly solid. If true, Samsung fans will not have to wait much longer to see what the Galaxy S26 series has to offer.
