The expanded Micro RGB lineup will include 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, 100-inch and 115-inch models. Samsung says the new range is designed to address growing demand for higher picture quality in premium televisions, whether as large-format displays for spacious homes or more compact premium options.
According to Samsung, Micro RGB televisions are positioned as a distinct category within its premium portfolio, combining independently controlled red, green and blue LEDs with AI-powered processing to improve color accuracy, motion handling and overall clarity.
Display and picture technologyMicro RGB technology uses sub-100 micrometre red, green and blue LEDs that emit light independently. This structure allows precise control over light and color reproduction. The 2026 models will feature picture-processing tools such as 4K AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro, which adjust brightness, smooth motion and enhance detail in real time.
At the core of the lineup is the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, powered by a next-generation AI chipset. Samsung says this engine enables frame-by-frame optimisation and includes features such as Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro for wider color expression.
The televisions also carry Micro RGB Precision Color 100 certification from VDE, achieving 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut through refined RGB dimming control.
Samsung’s upgraded Vision AI Companion integrates large language model-based intelligence with Bixby to support conversational search, interactive queries and recommendations. It also enables access to features such as Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper and Perplexity.
The Micro RGB TVs include Samsung’s Glare Free technology to reduce reflections in different lighting conditions. On the audio side, the lineup supports Dolby Atmos, Adaptive Sound Pro and Q-Symphony, along with Eclipsa Audio, a new spatial sound system that will be standard across Samsung’s 2026 TV range.
CES 2026 showcaseSamsung will present the new Micro RGB lineup at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9, offering a first public look at the expanded range and its role in the company’s premium home entertainment strategy.
