Samsung has announced a new smartphone lineup in India called the Galaxy F70 series, aimed at younger users who use their phones mainly to create and share content. The company made the announcement on Thursday, saying the new series is built around the idea that the smartphone camera has become a key tool for self-expression.

According to Samsung, today’s young users rely heavily on photos, videos, and stories to communicate who they are. Posts are no longer just casual updates but a way to shape how people are seen and remembered online. With this in mind, Samsung says it has put the camera at the centre of the Galaxy F70 experience.

The Galaxy F70 series is designed for people who regularly create content for social media and messaging platforms. Samsung says the phones combine solid hardware with new AI-based camera features to help users capture better-looking photos and videos without much effort. The focus, according to the company, is on making everyday shots feel more confident and expressive.

Samsung has positioned the Galaxy F70 series in the mid and affordable smartphone category, with prices expected to stay below Rs 30,000. The company also shared that the first phone in the Galaxy F70 lineup will launch in February and will fall in the Rs10,000 to ₹15,000 price range. This launch will mark the start of a broader expansion of the Galaxy F70 series in India.

While Samsung did not share detailed specifications or feature lists yet, the company said the series is meant to match the pace and habits of younger users who create content daily. Cameras, in particular, are expected to play a central role across the lineup, reflecting how important visual content has become for this audience.

The Galaxy F series has traditionally focused on offering competitive features at accessible prices, and the F70 series appears to follow the same approach while placing extra attention on photography and video use. By introducing a new series under the Galaxy F brand, Samsung is also refreshing its portfolio for buyers looking for newer options in the crowded mid-range segment.

More details about the first Galaxy F70 smartphone, including specifications and availability, are expected to be shared closer to its February launch.
