Both newly launched Redmi tablets come with cellular connectivity and will be available from August in India.

Xiaomi has announced two new tablets, the Redmi Pad Pro and the Redmi Pad SE 4G today. Both devices come with cellular connectivity and cater to different price segments and consumer requirements. The Redmi Pad SE 4G is an upgraded version of the Redmi Pad SE, which was launched earlier this year. On the other hand, the Redmi Pad Pro supports 5G connectivity.

Redmi Pad Pro, Redmi Pad SE 4G: Price, availability

The Redmi Pad Pro series comes in Wi-Fi and 5G variants. The Wi-Fi model comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and is priced at Rs 21,999. The higher two priced models with 5G connectivity are priced at Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage respectively.

All the variants of the Redmi Pad Pro are available at an instant discount of Rs 2,000 for ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank credit card holders. It will be available from August 2 at noon via Xiaomi’s website, Flipkart, Amazon India, and Xiaomi retail stores.

The Redmi Pad SE 4G has a starting price of Rs 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Rs 11,999. Xiaomi is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 for ICICI Bank credit card holders and it will be available from August 8.

Redmi Pad Pro features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness. Its screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with Adreno 710 GPU. The Pad Pro comes with two 8MP cameras at the front and back.

The tablet packs a 10000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It also has Dolby Atmos-certified quad speakers and runs Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.

On the other hand, the Redmi Pad SE 4G has an 8.7-inch HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

The Redmi Pad SE 4G packs a 6650mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. On the software front, it runs Android 14 out of the box.
