
Redmi 15 5G has gone on sale in India today, marking the first availability of Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Note series smartphone in the country. The device was launched earlier this week and is positioned in the mid-range segment, focusing on 5G connectivity, a large AMOLED display, and a high-resolution rear camera. The phone is available through online and offline channels, along with several bank and exchange offers for early buyers.
Price in India and sale offers
Redmi 15 5G price in India starts at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The higher-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at Rs 24,999. As part of launch offers, Xiaomi is providing an instant discount of up to Rs 3,000 on purchases made using select bank credit cards and credit card EMI transactions. Eligible banks include SBI, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank.
With the applicable bank discount, the effective price of the Redmi 15 5G comes down to Rs 19,999 for the base variant and Rs 21,999 for the higher storage model. Buyers can also opt for no-cost EMI plans starting at Rs 3,333 per month, depending on the chosen tenure. Additional exchange benefits are available, subject to the condition and model of the old device.
Availability and colour options
The Redmi 15 5G is available for purchase starting today at 12pm IST. The smartphone can be bought via the Xiaomi India website, Amazon, and authorised retail partners across the country. It is offered in three colour options: Black, Glacier Blue, and Mist Purple.
Key features and specifications
Redmi 15 5G runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and is confirmed to receive four years of Android OS updates along with six years of security updates. It features a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. In terms of cameras, it comes with a dual rear camera setup, led by a 108-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. There is a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Redmi 15 5G packs a 5,520mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. It also includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP65-rated build for dust and water resistance.
