Nubia has introduced its new gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 11 Air, on the global market, after the device’s initial unveiling in China. The device sports a 6.85-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate. For thermal management, the Red Magic 11 Air has an ICE Cooling System with dual active cooling fans. The phone is aimed at users who value high performance without an excessively massive design and a high asking price.

RedMagic 11 Air: Price, availability

The Red Magic 11 Air has a starting price of $529 (around Rs 49,000) for the base variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is also available in a 16GB + 512GB configuration, which is priced at $599 (around Rs 55,000). The phone is available in Quantum Black and Stardust White colour shades, and will be available for purchase through redmagic.gg and select partners from February 11.

Under the Early Bird pricing, the phone can be grabbed for $469 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model and $569 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB model. These prices are valid from February 5 to February 10, in the pre-order period.

RedMagic 11 Air: Specifications, features

The Red Magic 11 Air sports a 6.85-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 960Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, this device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Android 16-based RedMagic OS 11.0. In terms of gaming features, the handset offers professional shoulder trigger buttons with a 520Hz touch sampling rate, bypass charging support, and a built-in PC emulator. Further, it has an extra-thick ice-grade vapour chamber and graphene copper foil for improved heat management.

For optics, the Red Magic 11 Air has a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 16MP camera. The phone houses a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging support. The company says it’s 12% thinner and 10% lighter than the REDMAGIC 11 Pro, with the phone weighing at 207g.
