Nubia’s gaming sub-brand, Red Magic, has confirmed the launch of its new smartphone, Red Magic 10 Air, in China later this month. Alongside confirming the launch date, the company has also revealed the design and colour options of the handset. The phone was previously spotted on various certification websites, revealing its key specifications.
Red Magic 10 Air: Launch date, expected design and specifications
Through a new Weibo post, the company confirmed that the Red Magic 10 Air will launch in China on April 16. In another Weibo post, Red Magic also revealed the design of the smartphone and revealed its Flame Orange, Frost Blade White, and Shadow Black colour options. The design renders also reveal that the handset will be equipped with a dual rear camera setup at the back.
Additionally, Red Magic has confirmed that the 10 Air will feature a 7.85mm slim body and will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It will also have a self-developed RedCore R3 gaming chip, which was first introduced in the RedMagic 10 Pro series.
Notably, the Red Magic 10 Air was recently spotted on China’s TENAA certification site. The listing reveals that the phone will likely sport a 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED screen alongside an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. For optics, the Magic 10 Air will likely come with two 50MP rear cameras and a 16MP selfie shooter. The TENAA listing mentions that the device will have a 5,860mAh rated battery, which is expected to be marketed as a 6,000mAh typical capacity and will support 80W fast charging.
