Oura, the Finnish health technology company, launched its latest smart wearable ring, the Oura Ring 4, on Thursday. The smart ring comes with a redesigned titanium build and is available in six colour shades. It rivals the Samsung Galaxy Ring, which was launched earlier this year. The Ring 4 is equipped with Smart Sensing technology which is claimed to provide more accurate health and activity readings.

The Oura Ring 4 price starts at $349 (around Rs. 29,000) and it comes in a range of 12 different finger sizes between 4 to 12. The smart ring is offered in Black, Brushed Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, and Stealth colour options
According to Oura, the ring is now available for pre-order via select channels in the US, the UK, and certain European countries. It has its official sale from October 15.

Crafted from lightweight, hypoallergenic titanium, the Oura Ring 4 can withstand deep water exposure, with water resistance up to 100m. It has multiple health reading sensors, including red and infrared LEDs to monitor blood oxygen levels while the user sleeps. In contrast, the green and infrared LEDs alternate to measure heart rate, heart rate variability, and respiration rate.
Another major feature of the Ring 4 is that it can last continuously for eight days on a single charge. Oura claims that it would take up to 120 minutes to fully charge. It comes with a size-specific charger and a USB Type-C cable. The smart ring also supports Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity.
The updated Oura App now offers detailed stress, activity, and reproductive health readings. It is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
