Popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo launched the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro globally last week, and now both smartphones are set to launch in India soon. Oppo has already started teasing the smartphone with its new AI features. The upcoming AI features on these smartphones include AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, and AI Clear Face.

The Oppo Reno12 Series integrates various AI functionalities across its upcoming devices, incorporating artificial intelligence to mainstream users. Here is a list of all the AI features:

Gen AI in Photography: Oppo has embedded many new AI features in the camera department. With AI Eraser 2.0, you can remove unwanted background distractions at the touch of a button. It also helps in removing both human beings and everyday objects.

Oppo has also introduced AI Clear Face technology, which further enhances the photography experience by generating HD details of facial textures. Similar to Apple’s Memoji, AI Studio allows users to transform photos of real persons into digital avatars. Other than that, AI Best Take and AI Perfect Shot help in taking perfect group photos.

AI in Productivity: Oppo has also introduced an AI Toolbox that features utilities such as AI Writer, AI Summary, and AI Speak to perform various custom tasks. The AI Recording Summary function can summarize daily office meetings and provide notes and summaries in English and Hindi languages.

AI in Efficiency and Connectivity: AI Clear Voice is another notable feature, utilising AI algorithms to reduce background noise by 40db, in voice and video calls. Additionally, Oppo’s Trinity Engine adjusts power consumption in real time to extend battery life.
