Oppo has introduced its new performance-oriented K13 Turbo 5G series in India, marking the arrival of the K13 Turbo 5G and K13 Turbo Pro 5G models. Designed with gamers and power users in mind, the lineup features advanced cooling systems, high-refresh-rate displays, and large batteries, starting at Rs 24,999.

Design and performance

Both smartphones adopt a racing-inspired design and feature Oppo’s “Storm Engine” for enhanced gaming performance. The K13 Turbo Pro 5G is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while the standard K13 Turbo 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 processor. These configurations are paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, offering a choice for users seeking high-speed performance.

Display and cooling

Each model comes with a 6.8-inch LTPS Flexible AMOLED display, supporting a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and reaching up to 1,600 nits peak brightness. To handle extended gaming sessions, Oppo has included a 7,000mm² vapour cooling system alongside its Storm Engine technology for efficient heat management.

Camera setup

The series features a dual-rear-camera system, led by a 50MP main sensor with an OV50D40 unit, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, a 16MP camera is provided for selfies and video calls.

Battery and charging

A 7,000mAh battery powers both models, complemented by the Smart Charging Engine 5.0 for optimized charging cycles. Fast charging is supported with 80W Super Flash Charge, aiming to reduce downtime for heavy users.

Software support

The smartphones run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, with Oppo promising two major OS updates and three years of security patches.

Price in India and availability

The Oppo K13 Turbo 5G is priced at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant with launch offers applied. The K13 Turbo Pro 5G starts at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, with a reduced launch price of Rs 34,999. Colour options for the K13 Turbo include Knight White, First Purple, and Midnight Marvier, while the Pro model will be available in Silver Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick. Sales begin on August 15 via Flipkart, Oppo’s online store, and authorised offline retailers.
