Motorola has officially launched the Razr 50 in India today. It is the latest flip-foldable smartphone from the Lenovo-owned brand and is a cheaper alternative to the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, which was launched earlier this year. The highlights of the device include a 6.9-inch Full HD+ foldable display, a 3.6-inch external cover screen, MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, and more.
Motorola Razr 50: Price and availabilityThe Motorola Razr 50 is available in sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and is priced at Rs 64,999. However, as a part of upcoming introductory and festive offers, the Razr 50 will have Rs 5,000 festive off and a Rs 10,000 bank discount from select cards. These offers will bring down the effective price to Rs. 49,999.
Pre-booking of the smartphone starts on September 10 and it will have its first sale from September 20 on Amazon, and Motorola.in, Reliance Digital, and as well as select retail stores. It will be available in Beach Sand, Koala Grey, and Spritz Orange shades.
Motorola Razr 50: FeaturesThe Motorola Razr 50 has a 6.9-inch FlexView Full HD+ pOLED LTPO display with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels. It has up to 120Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness. There is also a 3.6-inch external cover pOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The foldable is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset and runs on Hello UI skin based on Android 14. The company has promised three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. The Razr 50 has a 4,200 mAh battery and supports 33W Turbocharging and 15W wireless charging.
In terms of optics, the foldable comes with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the inner display, there is a 32MP selfie. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IPX8 rating for additional water resistance.
