Mobile is the most personal Copilot surface

Valentine’s Day emerged as a key moment when users sought advice, planning help, and emotional support. Late-night hours prompt deeper questions

The report found that conversations around religion and philosophy rose during late-night and early-morning hours. These sessions contrasted with daytime usage, which leaned more toward practical topics like travel. The timing suggests that users turn to AI during quiet hours for reflection and abstract thinking.

Advice-seeking is growing faster than search

While information lookup remains the most common use case, advice-oriented conversations showed clear growth. Users increasingly ask Copilot for guidance on decisions, relationships, and personal challenges, indicating a shift from transactional search behavior to trust-based interaction.
