LG has confirmed that it will unveil its new Gallery TV at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2026, positioning the product as part of its expanding lifestyle television lineup. The announcement highlights LG’s continued focus on televisions that go beyond entertainment and function as design-led elements within living spaces.
The Gallery TV has been designed specifically for consumers who prioritise interior aesthetics alongside display performance. According to LG, the television is intended to act as a canvas when not in active use, integrating seamlessly with home décor rather than appearing as a conventional black screen on the wall. The product builds on LG’s existing lifestyle TV strategy, which aims to turn screens into adaptable visual elements within modern homes.
Gallery Mode and visual optimisation
A key feature of the Gallery TV is its dedicated Gallery Mode, which has been developed in collaboration with museum curators. This mode is designed to optimise colour accuracy, brightness, and contrast to replicate the texture and visual depth of original artworks. The TV also automatically adjusts picture quality based on ambient lighting conditions in the room, helping maintain consistent clarity throughout different times of the day.
LG has confirmed that the Gallery TV will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. It features a slim, flush-mount design that allows the screen to sit close to the wall, reinforcing its framed-art appearance. Customisable magnetic frames are included to help users match the TV with different interior styles. Internally, the Gallery TV offers sufficient onboard storage, allowing users to curate and save selected visual content directly on the device.
The Gallery TV is powered by LG’s MiniLED display technology and the Alpha 7 AI Processor, delivering 4K resolution visuals. On the audio side, the television supports AI Sound Pro with virtual 9.1.2-channel output, aiming to create an immersive sound experience without the immediate need for external speakers.
Completing the experience is the LG Gallery+ service, which offers a library of more than 4,500 artworks that are refreshed regularly. LG positions this platform as a central part of the Gallery TV concept, reinforcing the idea of the screen as a functional interior element rather than just a display for video content.
