Instagram now lets you add text and stickers to photos: Here’s how it works

Meta-owned social media platform, Instagram has been lately introducing a host of new features and updates to improve its usability. Now in the latest update, the app has rolled out new features that allow users to add text and additional images to photo and carousel posts. These enhancements provide users with more creative flexibility and customization options to fine-tune their posts.

In a new blog post, Instagram has added: "We're introducing improvements to our creative tools to give you more ways to express yourself and make your content your own: New fonts, text animations and effects in reels and stories, the ability to add text and stickers to photos and carousels, increasing carousel limit to be up to 20 photos and videos in a single post."

Instagram has added a new text button that can be used after selecting a photo to upload. Additionally, images can be added in the sticker form by tapping on the gallery button at the top right of the screen. These stickers are available in several shapes, including rectangles, squares, circles, hearts, or stars.

Meta has also added new text fonts, effects, and animations for Reels and Stories on Instagram. When you open the text tool and tap the text button, you will now see new fonts that can be animated or customized with desired effects and animations. After selecting a particular font users can add this animated text as an an effect in Reels.

Recently, Instagram also increased the carousel limit up to 20 photos and videos in a single post, to create longer carousels.
