Google’s A-series Pixel phones have traditionally focused on delivering the core Pixel experience at a lower price, and the Pixel 10a looks set to continue that trend. A new leak suggests that Google has already locked in key launch details for its next mid-range smartphone, potentially bringing it to market earlier than many expected.
The information comes from a leaker with a strong track record for accurately revealing release timelines, pricing, and configurations ahead of official announcements. According to the leak, Google has finalised the Pixel 10a’s launch schedule, storage options, colour variants, and European pricing.
Google Pixel 10a: Expected specs
The Pixel 10a is expected to launch in two storage configurations: 128GB and 256GB. Both models are said to come with 8GB of RAM, with no higher-memory variant planned. On the hardware side, the phone is tipped to feature a 6.2-inch Full HD plastic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a sizeable 5,100mAh battery.
In terms of design, the leak claims the Pixel 10a will be available in four colours: Obsidian, Fog, Lavender, and Berry. Contrary to earlier rumours, all four colour options are reportedly available across both storage variants, rather than being limited to specific models.
Pricing, at least in Europe, appears unchanged compared to the Pixel 9a. The 128GB version is listed at €549, while the 256GB model is said to cost €649. With smartphone prices continuing to rise across the industry, holding prices steady could help the Pixel 10a remain competitive in the mid-range segment.
The release timeline is also said to be set. According to the leak, Google plans to open pre-orders on February 18, 2026, with the official launch following on March 5, 2026. Pre-orders are expected to go live at around 6 PM French time.
As with all leaks, these details should be treated with caution until Google makes an official announcement. Still, given the source’s reliability, the Pixel 10a appears to be shaping up as a familiar, no-surprises update aimed squarely at buyers who want a Pixel without flagship pricing.
