Dell introduces Dell Pro, Dell Pro Max laptops, desktops: All the details

At CES 2025, Dell introduced three product categories – Dell (designed for play, school and work), Dell Pro (designed for professional-grade productivity) and Dell Pro Max (designed for maximum performance). Under these categories, Dell unveiled several new devices.

The base tier of Dell Pro – simply Dell Pro – delivers essential performance for everyday productivity. Available in 14- and 16-inch, these laptops are available with a metallic finish in platinum silver and a laser textured finish in magnetite (dark gray). With a 16:10 aspect ratio and a low-power display, you can maximize your battery life, said Dell.

Dell’s revamped Pro laptop lineup now offers sleek, durable, and professional-grade machines for business users. These laptops, designed to withstand the rigors of daily work, boast materials that endure three times more hinge cycles and drops than competitors, says Dell.

The Pro lineup includes Intel® Core™ Ultra and AMD Ryzen™ processors with NPU, CPU, and GPU capabilities, delivering long-lasting battery life, AI-powered productivity, and better performance

There’s the Dell Pro 13/14 Premium, which is the lightest and slimmest in the portfolio, starting at just 2.36 pounds. It offers up to 21.2 hours of battery life and significant performance improvements, including 3.5x faster AI capabilities. Featuring a Tandem OLED display, it’s 24% more power-efficient and 49% lighter than traditional OLEDs.

The Del Pro 13/14/16 Plus will come in a variety of configurations, form factors (laptop and 2-in-1) and display sizes (13-, 14- and 16-inch). Dell Pro Plus features a minimalist design in platinum silver and is designed with 50% recycled and low emissions aluminum. USB, HDMI and Thunderbolt port options, plus 5G and Wi-Fi 7, provide dependable connectivity It’s also built to withstand rigorous MIL-STD testing, delivering reliability for your fleet, says Dell.

Dell Pro Max

Under the Pro Max series, the devices include Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2, U SKUs) and AMD Ryzen and AMD Threadripper processor options and professional graphics. The all-new 16-inch size provides expansive screen real estate. The display offers up to QHD+ resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and an optional touch screen. With support for up to the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation Laptop GPU, designers, engineers and architects can have the performance they need for AI inferencing, rendering and creative applications, claims Dell

There are also Dell Pro Max Desktops. Available in micro, slim and tower form factors, these desktops offer NVIDIA RTX professional graphics and AMD graphics options to power demanding tasks.
