Apple is reportedly gearing up for a wave of product launches, with the highly anticipated iPhone SE 4 and M4-powered MacBook Air models, expected to take centre stage. The company is expected to be planning a small announcement this week, followed by another one before the weekend, which could include upgrades for the Apple Vision Pro or the launch of the iPad 11 (2025).
Apple preparing a slew of launches in the coming weeks
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman previously reported about the imminent launch of the iPhone SE 4 last week, in his Power On newsletter. However, through a new post on X, he revealed more details about Apple's plans, Gurman claimed that the iPhone SE 4 could be announced next week during a product briefing, with two announcements to precede this announcement, this week.
While no details about what could be announced were shared, it is speculated that the company could launch the iPad 11 (2025) and an upgraded Apple Vision Pro with Apple Intelligence features this week, followed by the upcoming iPhone SE variant with bigger display and other upgrades, later this month. Apart from these, Gurman also claimed that Apple will also introduce the M4-powered MacBook Air in the coming weeks.
Apple iPhone SE 4: Expected specifications
The upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to move away from its predecessor’s traditional small form factor and is tipped to adopt an iPhone 14-like design. This affordable iPhone is also believed to replace the Touch ID home button with FaceID, and will likely incorporate a bigger 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The iPhone SE is also believed to come with a 48MP rear camera.
Further, the phone is expected to be powered by the latest Apple A18 chip with 8GB RAM and support Apple Intelligence out of the box.
