Apple has officially announced a press event scheduled for March 4, 2026, inviting media to attend what it is calling a “special Apple Experience”. The event will take place at 9 a.m. ET, with in-person gatherings planned across multiple cities.
Press invites indicate that Apple will host events in New York, London, and Shanghai, pointing to a coordinated global launch rather than a purely digital keynote. The branding is notable, too. Apple is deliberately avoiding its usual “Apple Event” phrasing, suggesting a more hands-on or experiential format for attending media.
What Apple will actually announce remains unconfirmed, but the company has no shortage of hardware waiting in the wings.
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is preparing a broad lineup of products that could roll out in the coming weeks or months. Whether all of them make an appearance on March 4 is unclear, but expectations are already building.
Among the most talked-about products is a new low-cost MacBook powered by the A18 Pro chip, marking a significant shift away from Mac-specific Apple Silicon for entry-level laptops. Apple is also expected to refresh the MacBook Air with the upcoming M5 chip, alongside new M5 Pro and M5 Max-powered MacBook Pro models.
Beyond laptops, Apple is reportedly working on updated Mac displays, which have not seen major changes in some time. On the mobile side, the long-rumoured iPhone 17e could finally make its debut as a more affordable addition to the iPhone lineup.
The iPad range is also due for attention. Reports point to a new base iPad powered by the A18 chip, as well as an updated iPad Air with Apple’s M4 processor, continuing the company’s push to blur the line between tablets and laptops.
On the software front, Apple is expected to release the first beta of iOS 26.4 soon. The update is said to include at least some of the long-promised Siri upgrades, powered in part by Google Gemini, following Apple’s recent AI partnership announcements.
For now, Apple is keeping details tightly under wraps. But the scale of the invite list and the number of products in the pipeline suggest March 4 could be one of Apple’s more consequential launch moments of the year.
