All that glitters: BigBasket, Swiggy Instamart, Zepto to deliver silver, gold coins in 10 mins

Investors look forward to the U.S. weekly jobless claims data due at 1230 GMT and the University of Michigan's consumer sentiment reading on Friday

Quick commerce platforms BigBasket, Swiggy Instamart and Zepto announced on May 9 that on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, they will be delivering silver and gold coins on May 10.

While Swiggy, via its quick commerce platform Swiggy Instamart, has partnered with Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Muthoot Exim (Muthoot Pappachan Group) to deliver the coins to the customers, BigBasket Now has partnered with Tanishq and MMTC-PAMP for delivering gold and silver coins and bars.

Zepto also announced its collaboration with Nek Jewellery for the same on X (formerly Twitter).

As per the statement, customers ordering from Tata Group-led BigBasket can purchase MMTC-PAMP Lakshmi Ganesh (999.9 Purity) Silver Coin, 10 g; MMTC-PAMP Banyan Tree (999.9 Purity) Silver Bar, 10 g; Tanishq 22 Karat Gold Coin, 1 g; and Tanishq 22 Karat Gold Coin With Lakshmi Motif, 1 g.

Additionally, gold and silver coins purchased through Swiggy Instamart will come with a 24 carat, 999 Gold coin. The silver coins are also of 999 purity. In addition to gold and silver coins in different grammages, Swiggy Instamart will also deliver silver spoons, silver glass, and puja essentials like the Vishnu Chalisa Book, agarbatti, flowers, and puja cloth during the ocassion.
