Adobe has officially launched Photoshop, Adobe Express and Acrobat for ChatGPT, bringing its most widely used creative tools into a conversational environment. Starting December 10, users can edit photos, create designs and work with PDFs directly through chat-based instructions. This integration combines Adobe’s creative technologies with ChatGPT’s natural-language interface, making complex workflows more accessible to millions of users worldwide.
Photoshop for ChatGPT
Photoshop’s integration allows users to make detailed edits without navigating traditional software menus. Users can adjust brightness, contrast and exposure, replace or blur backgrounds, modify specific parts of an image and apply stylised effects such as Glow or Glitch. The system maintains image quality while simplifying edits that would normally require advanced skills.
Adobe Express for ChatGPTExpress brings template-based design tools into ChatGPT. Users can browse a large library of templates, replace text, swap images, customise backgrounds, add animations and refine designs iteratively. This makes it easier for individuals and businesses to create social posts, invitations, posters and other visual assets through conversation alone.
Acrobat for ChatGPTThe Acrobat integration focuses on document handling. Users can upload PDFs, extract text, reorganise pages, merge files and convert documents to PDF — all within ChatGPT. Formatting and layout accuracy are preserved, offering a streamlined way to manage paperwork and digital files.
How to access these toolsChatGPT users will be able to access Photoshop, Adobe Express and Acrobat directly within the platform once the rollout begins. No separate installation is required. The tools appear as Adobe apps inside ChatGPT, allowing users to upload files, request edits and generate content through prompts.
Adobe has confirmed that the apps will be available for free at launch, making them accessible to a broad global audience across creative, business and educational use cases.
Adobe says the launch represents the first step in a larger agentic AI strategy powered by Project Moonlight, which enables AI Assistants across Adobe apps to work together. This framework allows users to move from an idea to a finished asset faster, whether they are editing an image, designing a poster or organising a document. More features and updates will continue to roll out in the coming weeks.
