Virat Kohli is back in India. The opening ODI of the three-match series against South Africa will take place in Ranchi, and the former captain of India has already traveled there. In an attempt to light the stage on fire against the Proteas, the right-handed batter has been working hard in the nets. But before heading to MS Dhoni's hometown of Ranchi, Virat went to an event in Mumbai, where Bollywood actor and comedian Sunil Grover was also present.
Grover can be seen throwing rib-tickling jokes in a number of videos from the event that are doing the rounds on social media, making Kohli laugh. Another video of the 37-year-old crying so much that he eventually began to experience some rib pain has now surfaced online.

It's important to note that Sunil Grover's portrayal of 1983 World Cup captain Kapil Dev caused the entire audience to laugh uncontrollably.
In the now-viral video, Virat is first seen leaning in the direction of a chair before getting up and massaging his ribs.
Grover asked, "Sab theek thak hai?" as soon as he saw this. (Is everything alright?)
The host, Gaurav Kapur, contributed as well, making a witty remark that had the audience in splits.
“Bhai do din me match khelna hai. Rib mat tod dena hasa ke. (Brother, a match has to be played in two days. Just look after his ribs).”

In the three ODIs against Australia in October, Kohli—who turned 37 earlier this month—marked his comeback to international cricket. After making two consecutive ducks in the first two ODIs, Kohli bounced back with an undefeated 74 in the third ODI in Sydney.
Additionally, he had a match-winning partnership with Rohit Sharma, who stayed undefeated on 121, even though India lost the series 1-2.
After winning the T20 World Cup in 2024, Kohli ended his T20I career and retired from Test cricket earlier this year.
