The Pakistan Champions Cup 2024 is all set to kick off on Thursday, September 12, promising a month-long cricketing extravaganza to the fans. The tournament will feature five teams including Markhors, Dolphins, Panthers, Stallions, and Lions who will battle out for the title. The league stage will include 10 matches, followed by the Qualifier and Eliminator 1 on September 24 and 25, respectively. The Eliminator 2 is scheduled for September 27, leading up to the grand finale on September 29. All matches will be played at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
The tournament includes some of Pakistan's biggest names including Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan's ODI and T20I teams who will lead the Stallions. Other notable players participating include Shaheen Shah Afridi (Lions), Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Usama Mir, Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, and Naseem Shah.
