Rajasthan Royals on Monday created history by purchasing the youngest player at the IPL mega auction in Jeddah. The champions of the inaugural edition roped in 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi for Rs 1.10 crore and the prodigy is now all set to work under the mentorship of India legend Rahul Dravid. Apart from him if we focus at the squad Rajasthan have assemble, their skipper Sanju Samson will be seen doing most of the heavylifting. Samson recently became the first Indian batter to smash consecutive tons in T20Is and the management will hope for similar performance from their skipper.

Apart from Samson, a lot will depend on the core, which Rajasthan retained ahead of the mega auction. Samson will have the support of Yashasvi Jaiswal at the top, who we all know is always hungry for runs. They were the only side after Kolkata Knight Riders to make six retentions heading into the auction. So keeping that in mind Riyan Parag, who has been a regular in the Rajasthan camp, along with Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer too will need to shoulder the responsiblity.

If we focus on the fresh additions, Jofra Archer returns to the Rajasthan camp. He is known for constantly touching the 150 kmph mark on the speed gun and the franchise will expect the England international to once again terrorise the opposition batters with his speed. Nitish Rana and Tushar Deshpande are other interesting additions, who too will hope for a solid outing with the new franchise.
