For India, Ravindra Jadeja (3/26) and debutant Harshit Rana (3/53) led the bowling attack, while Axar Patel, Mohammed Shami, and Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with a wicket each. During the chase, India built a strong foundation thanks to Shubman Gill’s classy 87 off 96 balls (14 fours) and Shreyas Iyer’s explosive 59 off just 36 balls (9 fours, 2 sixes). Axar Patel further anchored the innings with a crucial 52 off 47 balls (6 fours, 1 six), steering India to victory with four wickets in hand. Saqib Mahmood and Adil Rashid were England’s standout bowlers, each taking two wickets, but their efforts weren't enough to stop India from sealing the win.

Captain Rohit Sharma again struggled to score runs as he was dismissed cheaply early in the innings and he will look to bounce back in this contest. On the other hand, Virat Kohli missed the opener due to an injury and he is expected to comeback in the side.
