• Water mixed with Kusha grass and black sesame seeds is offered to the departed souls. This ritual is believed to appease ancestors and secure their blessings.
• Food prepared in a Saatvik manner is offered to Brahmins with a gift of Dakshina. Feeding cows, dogs, and crows is also considered sacred and ensures prosperity and peace for the family.
