Stockholm-based Note Design Studio has taken inspiration from the ripples and ridges of sand dunes and traditional textiles for its Weave tile collection. The studio has created over-sized and exaggerated patterns using hand-sculpted clay and sand. The designers then used a concrete casting process that would allow them to recreate tiny details. The Weave collection — which was created for Hungarian tile brand Kaza Concrete — includes three different styles, in two sizes and 24 colours, with the option of matte or gloss finishes. By pairing the tiles curved surfaces together would create the effect of a giant weave.
