HP launches printers for design professionals

HP has recently unveiled two web-connected printers — the HP Design jet T920 and T1500 ePrinter series — which have been specially developed to deliver an improved user experience for architecture, engineering, construction and design professionals. These printers aim to transform the large-format printing process with their new ergonomic design. Additionally, these devices help users-on-the-go access, view and print projects with the help of cloud computing. The company has identified an integrated output tray and true front roll media loading as the key areas for enhancement in the 36-inch devices. The output stacking tray is built on top and delivers flat, collated prints of upto 50 sheets of A4 to A0 media. The new industrial design also has a flat surface on top, creating a media review table for easy and quick checking of printed plans. The ePrinters deliver fast print speeds with the ability to print upto 21 seconds per A1/D size. These machines are also equipped with a 64 GB and a 320 GB hard drive. And should you need prints urgently when you are away from your computer, all you have to do is send the print-ready files to a configured email and the prints will automatically be generated. This series has four models with price ranging between ₹ 2,90,000 and ₹ 46,00,000.
