Sania Mirza’s last Instagram post, shared hours before Shoaib Malik announced marriage to Sana Javed

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza had shared a picture of herself on Instagram Stories just hours before Shoaib Malik announced his wedding to Pakistani TV actress Sana Javed.

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik had gotten married in 2010. They have a four-year-old son together named Izhaan Mirza Malik. After their wedding, the Pakistani cricketer and the Indian tennis star had moved base to Dubai.

Mirza's latest Instagram Story makes no mention of personal life. It shows her dressed in a blue blazer for a television appearance.

Rumours of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik's separation have swirled around for a long time now. Malik’s Instagram photos of his wedding to popular Pakistani TV actress Sana Javed appear to be an implicit confirmation of these rumours.

The 41-year-old shared pics from the wedding on social media today along with a verse from the Quran. “And We created you in pairs,” he wrote.

Neither Malik nor Mirza have publicly confirmed their split.

One day ago, Sania Mirza had shared an Instagram post giving a tour of her plush Dubai home. The video, created in collaboration with Asian Paints, took viewers inside the tennis player’s gorgeous white villa in Dubai.

According to news website Siasat, Malik and Mirza earlier lived in a luxurious bungalow in Palm Jumeirah. She moved to her new place in 2022. In the Asian Paints video, Mirza, 37, explained that the decision to move houses was taken keeping Izhaan's schooling in mind.

She also said that her son wanted a swimming pool, which the new villa offered.
