Realme launched the Realme 3 Pro in India alongside the Realme C2. The smartphone has been launched in India in two different variants of RAM and storage options. Surprisingly, the company’s CEO has reportedly confirmed that Realme could possibly launch a third variant in July.
Realme CEO Madhav Seth in a conversation with 91Mobiles stated that the company has another variant of the Realme 3 Pro in its pipeline. The new variant launching in July would have 8GB RAM under the hood.
Currently, Realme’s flagship device has been launched in India with 4GB and 6GB RAM models. Seth has not mentioned any details on the internal storage that would be clubbed with the 8GB RAM variant, but it can be assumed that it would support 128GB internal storage with expandable memory using microSD.
To recall, the Realme 3 Pro sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD curved display with a resolution of 1080 * 2340 pixels. Under the hood is an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC with a peak clocking rate of 2.2GHz. An Adreno 616 GPU handles the graphics department for smooth performance during heavy usage. The company currently offers a 4GB + 64GB variant and a 6GB + 128GB variant in India.
For optics, the Realme 3 Pro comes with a dual camera setup comprising of a 16MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 and a secondary 5MP lens with an aperture of f/2.4. The water-drop notch on the display houses a 25MP f/2.0 camera for selfies and AI Face Unlock. The camera unit is capable of shooting super slow motion videos at 960fps, 4K videos at 30fps, Ultra HD mode for capturing 64-megapixel images, Portrait mode, Expert Mode among other things.
The 4GB + 64GB variant starts at Rs 13,999 whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999. The smartphone has been launched in Carbon Grey, Nitro Blue, and Lightning Purple colour options and goes on sale starting April 29. It competes directly with the Redmi Note 7 Pro and the Galaxy M30 in India.
