Raghav Chadha-Parineeti Chopra wedding: Date, venue, invitation and other details

Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra are all set to get married in Udaipur this month, as per several media reports. The Aam Aadmi Party leader and the Bollywood star had gotten engaged in the national capital of Delhi earlier this year. Now, pictures that claim to show the couple’s wedding invitation card have emerged online.

As per the invite, Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra will host a grand celebration in Udaipur spread across two days, with the functions taking place at Taj Lake Palace and Leela Palace – both luxurious five-star properties. The wedding festivities will begin with a welcome lunch for guests, called ‘Grains of Love’, on September 23.

On September 24, the day of the wedding, the baarat is expected to leave Taj Lake Palace at around 2 pm and reach Leela Palace for “A pearl white Indian wedding.” The wording of the invite has given rise to speculation that the bride and groom will wear white outfits on their big day.

Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra’s wedding festivities will also include a ‘90s-themed party at Leela Palace Udaipur.

The wedding itself will be followed by a reception on September 24 that is expected to be a high-profile event with several politicians in attendance. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to make an appearance, along with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Other senior leaders of AAP will also be present at the reception.

Chadha and Chopra, both 34, got engaged on May 13 at Delhi’s Kapurthala House. Later, when the AAP leader was asked to describe his first meeting with Parineeti Chopra, he replied: “I can only say, however we met, it was a very magical and a very organic way of meeting.”
